This is how the Gospel of John describes the Lord’s love for each one of us: “He loved them to the very end” (Jn 13:1). This is the profound experience of Easter, which these days we welcome, celebrate and proclaim: “God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal Life” (Jn 3:16).

This is what we celebrate in these holy days. After two years in which we have had so many difficulties in being able to come together for the Easter celebrations, we gather with deep joy to commemorate the Mysteries that gave us new Life: the Eucharistic Supper, the service to the brothers and sisters and the vocation to fraternal love, the institution of the priesthood, the passion and death of the Lord,  the longing expectation of Life, the resurrection of the Lord, the proclamation of the Gospel, the community centered on Christ and sent in Mission. We celebrate our faith, which definitively transforms our existence and that of all human beings.

In all our schools and parishes, in the heart of our religious communities and in the Fraternity, in the midst of the Missions we promote, in each of our Piarist Christian communities, in the life of the Calasanz Movement, these days there is only one central experience: Christ Jesus, the Lord.

We send you all our best greetings in these days of Easter, wishing you to live and celebrate with deep serenity and joy the Love of Christ. May God grant you the precious gift of renewing your desire to follow Jesus, in the heart of the Pious Schools, to offer our children and young people the witness – humble and authentic – of the Resurrection of the Lord. This is our treasure, this is the sending we have received. This is how Calasanz taught us, and this is how it has always been and will always be in the Pious Schools.

Nos amó hasta el extremo

Así describe el Evangelio de Juan el amor del Señor por cada uno de nosotros: “los amó hasta el extremo” (Jn 13, 1). Esta es la profunda experiencia de la Pascua, que estos días acogemos, celebramos y anunciamos: “Tanto amó Dios al mundo que entregó a su único Hijo para que todo el que crea en Él no se pierda, sino que tenga Vida eterna” (Jn 3, 16).

Esto es lo que celebramos en estos días santos. Después de dos años en los que hemos tenido tantas dificultades para poder encontrarnos en las celebraciones pascuales, nos reunimos con profunda alegría para conmemorar los Misterios que nos dieron nueva Vida: La cena eucarística, el servicio a los hermanos y la vocación al amor fraterno, la institución del sacerdocio, la pasión y muerte del Señor, la espera anhelante de la Vida, la resurrección del Señor, el anuncio evangélico, la comunidad centrada en Cristo y enviada en Misión. Celebramos nuestra fe. que transforma de modo definitivo nuestra existencia y la de todos los seres humanos.

En todos nuestros colegios y parroquias, en el seno de nuestras comunidades religiosas y de la Fraternidad, en medio de las Misiones que impulsamos, en cada una de nuestras comunidades cristianas escolapias, en la vida del Movimiento Calasanz, estos días sólo hay una experiencia central: Cristo Jesús, el Señor.

Les enviamos a todos ustedes nuestra mejor felicitación en estos días de Pascua, deseándoles que puedan vivir y celebrar con profunda serenidad y alegría el Amor de Cristo. Dios les conceda el precioso don de renovar su deseo de seguir a Jesús, en el seno de las Escuelas Pías, para ofrecer a nuestros niños y jóvenes el testimonio -humilde y auténtico- de la resurrección del Señor. Este es nuestro tesoro, este es el envío que hemos recibido. Así nos lo enseñó Calasanz, y así ha sido y será siempre en las Escuelas Pías.

Con nuestro deseo de una Feliz Pascua, les enviamos un abrazo fraterno.
