July 16 and 17 were very significant days for all the participants in the CALASANCTIAN ROUTE and for the two communities of the General Houses in Rome. Our confrere NGUYỄN VĂN VIỆT received priestly ordination on July 16, the anniversary of the canonization of St. Joseph Calasanz, from the hands of H.E.R. Msgr. Lazzaro You Heung-Sik, Prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy of the Holy See. And on the 17th, he celebrated his First Eucharist in our Shrine of Frascati, placing his ministry under the protection of the Queen of the Pious Schools.

With these two celebrations the Calasanctian Route of this year 2022 was closed, in which 30 young Piarists from different Piarist demarcations have participated.

Let us pray for Fr. Việt, asking the Lord to grant him the precious gift of vocational fidelity.

Los días 16 y 17 de julio fueron muy significativos para todos los participantes en la RUTA CALASANCIA y para las dos comunidades de las Casas Generales de Roma. Nuestro hermano NGUYỄN VĂN VIỆT recibió la ordenación sacerdotal el día 16 de julio, aniversario de la canonización de San José de Calasanz, de manos de S.E.R. Mons. Lazzaro You Heung-Sik, Prefecto de la Congregación para el Clero de la Santa Sede. Y el día 17, celebró su Primera Eucaristía en nuestro Santuario de Frascati, poniendo su ministerio bajo la protección de la Reina de las Escuelas Pías.

Con estas dos celebraciones se clausuró la Ruta Calasancia de este año 2022, en la que han participado 30 jóvenes escolapios de diversas demarcaciones escolapias.

Oremos por el P. Việt, pidiendo al Señor que le conceda el precioso don de la fidelidad vocacional.
