You have in your hands the PIARIST YEARBOOK OF THE YEAR 2020. Undoubtedly, a very special year, marked by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We publish this YEARBOOK when we are still in the middle of the pandemic, and it will surely take us a while to get out of it, without a doubt. Therefore, it is difficult to assess the consequences of COVID-19 in the Order as a whole. We will likely have to wait a little while to get a more complete picture of what we call the “impact of the pandemic” on the Pious Schools. But what we can do is to contemplate, with serenity and hope, the signs of life that have been appearing in the midst of this difficult situation we are experiencing.

Tienes en tus manos el ANUARIO ESCOLAPIO del año 2020. Sin duda, un año muy especial, marcado por la pandemia del COVID-19.

Publicamos este ANUARIO cuando todavía estamos en plena pandemia, y seguramente tardaremos en salir de ella, sin duda. Por eso, es difícil valorar las consecuencias de la COVID-19 en el conjunto de la Orden. Es probable que tengamos que esperar un poco de tiempo para tener una visión más completa de lo que llamamos el “impacto de la pandemia” en las Escuelas Pías. Pero lo que sí podemos hacer ya es contemplar, con serenidad y esperanza, los signos de vida que han ido apareciendo en medio de esta difícil situación que vivimos.
