Father Pedro Aguado, Sch.P., who is our Superior General, presided at the simple profession of Brother Brayan de Jesus, Sch.P. on July 10, 2021. The profession took place at the Southeast Pastoral Institute (SEPI) in Miami, FL. The occasion marked the conclusion of Brother Brayan\u2019s novitiate. Father Pedro Rivas, Sch.P. served as Brother Brayan\u2019s Novice Master during the past year.
Piarists from all parts of our Province, as well as members of other religious congregations, relatives and friends, participated in the Mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


During his homily, Father Aguado invited Brother Brayan to be a happy Piarist, to always be a witness of Christ through his ex-ample and to exercise a life of fidelity as a religious. As is our custom, Brother Brayan chose a religious name: Brayan de Jesus of the Holy Family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Brother Brayan will now reside in our Community of Coto Laurel, PR and study at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce, PR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The Piarists of our Province of the United States and Puerto Rico thank God for the life and dedication of our brother, and we place him under the protection of the Virgin Mary and of our Founder, Saint Joseph Calasanz. May his vocation of following Jesus become a gift from God for children and youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hermano Brayan de Jes\u00fas, Sch.P. profesa sus votos simples<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El Padre Pedro Aguado, Sch.P., nuestro Superior General, presidi\u00f3 la profesi\u00f3n simple del Hermano Brayan de Jes\u00fas, Sch.P., el 10 de julio de 2021. La profesi\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el Southeast Pastoral Institute (SEPI), en Miami, FL. La ocasi\u00f3n marc\u00f3 la conclusi\u00f3n del noviciado del Hermano Brayan. El Padre Pedro Rivas, Sch.P. sirvi\u00f3 como Maestro de Novicios del Hermano Brayan, durante el a\u00f1o pasado.
En la Misa participaron escolapios de todas partes de nuestra Provincia, as\u00ed como miembros de otras congregacio-nes religiosas, familiares y amigos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Durante su homil\u00eda, el Pa-dre Aguado invit\u00f3 al Hermano Brayan a ser un escolapio feliz, a siempre ser testigo de Cristo por medio de su ejemplo y a ejercer una vida de fidelidad como religioso. Como es nuestra costumbre, el Hermano Brayan eligi\u00f3 su nombre religioso como: Brayan de Jes\u00fas de la Sagrada Familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


El Hermano Brayan pasar\u00e1 a vivir en nuestra Comunidad de Coto Laurel, en Ponce, y estudia-r\u00e1 en a Pontificia Universidad Ca-t\u00f3lica d Puerto Rico, en Ponce, PR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Los escolapios de nuestra provincia de Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico, agradecemos a Dios por la vida y dedicaci\u00f3n de nuestro hermano, y lo ponemos bajo la protecci\u00f3n de la Virgen Mar\u00eda y de nuestro Fundador, San Jos\u00e9 de Calasanz. Que su vocaci\u00f3n de seguir a Jes\u00fas se convierta en un don de Dios para los ni\u00f1os y los j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
