The coordinating team of the Calasanz Movement in the Province of the USA-PR met at the Church of the Annunciation in Manhattan, New York on February 15, 2020. Father Manuel S\u00e1nchez, Sch.P., who was recently ordained a priest, was the principal celebrant of the morning Eucharist. The meeting was under the direction of Brother Jorge Ram\u00edrez, Sch.P. Members of the team included: Father Ricardo Rivera, Sch.P. (Fort Lauderdale), Miss Tatiana Cordoba (Miami), Father Manuel S\u00e1nchez, Sch.P. (San Juan), Brother Jos\u00e9 Col\u00f3n, Sch.P. (Ponce), Brother Jorge Ram\u00edrez, Sch.P. (Manhattan), Brother Abner Gonz\u00e1lez, Sch.P. (Bronx) and Brother Juan Pablo Eyzaguirre, Sch.P. (Bronx). Father Luis A. Cruz, Sch.P. (Bronx), who is the Provincial Assistant for Mission and Ministry, also attended the meeting. During the first session, the members dealt with the current situation of the Calasanz Movement in each geographical region of our Province. The representatives from each region shared their perspectives and hopes for the new semester. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the second session, the members had the opportunity to share virtually with representatives of the coordinating team of the Calasanz Movement of our Order. Our Province\u2019s team was able to ask questions, to listen and to share experiences. Most importantly, they received new tools, which will hopefully help to promote the Calasanz Movement in our Province. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last two sessions were the most intense. Work focused on the objectives and guidelines, which will help to expand the Calasanz Movement in our Province. During these two sessions, the members reviewed and discussed the original plan, which helped start the project a little more than one year ago. The members from each region identified important aspects, which needed some modification. They agreed on a revised guide for the Calasanz Movement in the Province of the USA-PR for the next four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The members also discussed preparations of the Calasanz Movement for the General Chapter in 2021 and for World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal in 2022. After a long and productive day, the members gave thanks to God. They ended their meeting with the exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The members of the team are united in prayer and thanksgiving for the Calasanz Movement. They have sent their representatives back to the different regions of our Province. Let us all continue to pray for the effective development of the Calasanz Movement, which will hopefully produce much good throughout our Province by nourishing our Piarist charism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equipo Provincial del Movimiento Calasanz de Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Durante el d\u00eda 15 de febrero de 2020, el Equipo Provincial de Movimiento Calasanz (USA-PR) estuvo reunido en la Parroquia de la Anunciaci\u00f3n en Manhattan, Nueva York. Los trabajos, bajo la direcci\u00f3n del coordinador provincial Hno. Jorge Ram\u00edrez, Sch.P. (NY), iniciaron a las 9:00 a.m. despu\u00e9s de la Eucarist\u00eda, presidida por el reci\u00e9n ordenado P. Manuel S\u00e1nchez, Sch.P. (SJ), y un desayuno fraterno. Distintas presencias escolapias estuvieron representadas en la reuni\u00f3n: Florida (P. Ricardo Rivera, Sch.P. y Srta. Tatiana Cordoba), Puerto Rico (P. Manuel S\u00e1nchez, Sch.P. y Hno. Jos\u00e9 Col\u00f3n, Sch.P.) y Nueva York (Hno. Jorge Ram\u00edrez, Hno. Abner Gonz\u00e1lez, Sch.P. y Hno. Juan Pablo Eyzaguirre, Sch.P.). Tambi\u00e9n estuvo presente el P. Luis A. Cruz, Sch.P., Asistente Provincial para la Misi\u00f3n y el Ministerio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La primera sesi\u00f3n se dio en el contexto de las realidades de las presencias que componen la Provincia. Los representantes de estas compartieron sus perspectivas y anhelos de cara al nuevo semestre. Las pr\u00f3ximas sesiones de trabajo siguieron con la misma intensidad. Durante la segunda sesi\u00f3n los presentes pudieron compartir de manera virtual con representantes del Movimiento Calasanz a nivel general, hicieron preguntas, escucharon y compartieron experiencias, y lo m\u00e1s importante, recibieron nuevas herramientas que servir\u00e1n para impulsar este gran proyecto que est\u00e1 iniciando en nuestra provincia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las \u00faltimas dos sesiones fueron las m\u00e1s intensas. Se trabaj\u00f3 en los objetivos y lineamientos por los que se regir\u00e1 el Movimiento Calasanz en la provincia para poder continuar creciendo y expandi\u00e9ndose. En estas dos sesiones se revis\u00f3 y discuti\u00f3 el plan con el cual se inici\u00f3 el proyecto hace poco m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o. Los representantes por zona identificaron puntos importantes a modificar y dieron forma a un nuevo proyecto que servir\u00e1 de gu\u00eda para lo que ser\u00e1 el Movimiento Calasanz en USA- PR por los pr\u00f3ximos cuatro a\u00f1os. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre otras cosas se habl\u00f3 del proyecto que est\u00e1 tomando forma con miras a la JMJ 2022 en Lisboa, Portugal y de las esperanzas que se tienen mientras se camina al Cap\u00edtulo General. Luego de un largo y productivo d\u00eda de trabajo, todos los presentes dieron gracias a Dios y presentaron los resultados y conclusiones de la reuni\u00f3n a Dios, as\u00ed como a los proyectos por zona y a los l\u00edderes y j\u00f3venes de cada una, con una exposici\u00f3n y adoraci\u00f3n al Sant\u00edsimo. Nos unimos en comuni\u00f3n de oraciones y acci\u00f3n de gracias por todo lo que se pudo hacer y por el proyecto con el que han sido enviados todos los miembros y representantes del Movimiento Calasanz de la provincia. Sigamos orando por
el desarrollo y consolidaci\u00f3n de este proyecto que trae mucho bien a nuestras presencias y alimenta nuestro carisma escolapio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
