It is a solemn way in which the Church recognizes the path traveled by a man who wanted to do the will of the Father by educating children, especially the poorest, in piety and letters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let us pray that all of us who feel and are children of Calasanz follow in his footsteps and try daily to live in holiness among the children and young people entrusted to us and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In summary, the process leading to his canonization was as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1728 Approval of the heroic virtues by Benedict XIII<\/li><li>1748 Solemn Beatification in the Vatican Basilic by Benedict XIV<\/li><li>1767 Solemn Canonization at the Vatican Basilic by Clement XIII<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Castellano\">255 a\u00f1os de la Canonizaci\u00f3n de San Jos\u00e9 de Calasanz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#English\">English<\/a> \/ Castellano<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy, 16 de julio de 2022, recordamos con inmensa alegr\u00eda el d\u00eda en que el Papa Clemente XIII proclam\u00f3 Santo a nuestro Fundador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El proceso en sus inicios no fue f\u00e1cil, pero con trabajo, insistencia, fe, documentaci\u00f3n, pruebas y milagros, Jos\u00e9 de Calasanz fue elevado a la gloria de los altares.
